Aggressive mode

For complex cases when there are extra elements over the stamp

If the standard mode leaves pieces of text or lines — enable "Aggressive mode". The service will forcibly remove printed letters, numbers, and straight black lines, preserving the stamp impression and signature itself.

When to enable this mode

A lot of surrounding text

The impression is on a filled-out form, and the form elements overlap the stamp or signature.

Form lines

Horizontal and vertical lines of the form cross or frame the elements.

Standard mode failed

Fragments of text remained after regular cleaning — repeat with full cleaning.

How to enable

1

Upload and crop

Upload the file and crop only the stamp or signature area.

2

Enable Aggressive mode

The checkbox is located under the crop preview.

3

Enable extraction if necessary

If both a stamp and a signature are in the frame — choose what to keep (stamp or signature).

4

Start processing

Click "Remove background" and download the result.

What is removed and what remains

Removed

  • Printed black letters and numbers
  • Straight lines
  • Grids and table elements

Remains

  • The stamp or seal impression itself
  • Handwritten signature
  • Color and details of the impression
Do not enable 'just in case'

Aggressive mode is stronger than the standard one. For simple, clean impressions, standard background removal is usually enough. Enable aggressive mode only when there is genuinely a lot of text or lines around.
