How to extract a seal or stamp
When both a seal and a signature are in the same photo — keep only the seal impression
The extraction mode isolates the seal or stamp and removes everything else, including a handwritten signature over the seal. The result is a transparent PNG with only the desired element.
When this mode is needed
Enable extraction if the cropped fragment contains both a seal and a signature at the same time and overlapping each other. In normal mode, the service will clear the background, but both elements will be preserved. The "Seal" mode will leave only the seal impression.
Step-by-step instructions
Upload a photo or scan
PNG, JPG, or PDF will work. You can capture the impression with your phone camera directly in the browser.
Crop the area with the seal
Select the area where the impression is located. The signature might get into the frame — the extraction mode will remove it.
Enable extraction
Check the "Extract individual elements" box and select "Seal".
The service will save the seal or stamp impression and delete the rest.
Enable aggressive mode if necessary
If there are form elements around or next to the seal, additionally enable "Aggressive mode". Read more in the article about aggressive mode.
Download the file with transparency
Click "Remove background", wait for the result, and download the transparent PNG.

The outline, text, and color of the seal or stamp itself.
What goes away
The handwritten signature, paper background, extra text, and lines.
Quality tip
Do not crop the entire A4 sheet. The closer the frame is to the seal, the more stable the result. If the impression is pale or smudged, improve the original photo first: see shooting tips.
